I'm looking to put this excellent little guy in a home where he'll get to do two of his favorite things for the rest of his life: be a valued member of a loving family, and retrieve. This is a unique opportunity to add a Fox Red lab sired by a National Winner to your family.
Something I love about this puppy is that when I throw him a bumper, he looks for me so that he can bring it right back to me. He's extremely birdy and has excellent retrieving desire. Both Layna and Blue were very easy to train, intelligent and intuitive, so we expect this guy to follow in their footsteps. He comes well socialized, has been raised in our home, and has had his first shots and wormer. Feel free to click here to go to the Layna x Blue litter page, and please don't hesitate to call or email if you have any questions! 903.277.4495 or [email protected]. Some quick notes about Blue: - Excellent training attitude, very intelligent, and has a high desire to retrieve and please
- Very good looking with great pedigree and friendly disposition. - 2008 National Derby List by 15 months old; earned 38 pts. - Qualified All-Age at 19 months old (Derby and Qual win same weekend). - Finished AA stakes at 2.5 years old. - Canadian National Field Champion at 4 - Finalist in the 2009 Canadian National Retriever Championship; Finalist in the 2013 Canadian National Amateur - Has already sired one FC AFC and several Master Hunters with more to come. - Full sibling to National Derby Champion (72 pts) FC AFC HRCH Taylorlab Downtown Dusty Brown MH, and FC CFC CAFC Taylorlab's Sugar And Spice MNH MH. We have put a lot of thought and consideration into this breeding, and we can't wait to see these puppies grow. Click here to find out more information about the litter. What a great team Jessie and her owner/handler Dave Kirker are. In three consecutive weekends they have earned a 1st, 2nd, and a 3rd in the derby to make it onto the National Derby List! Way to go!!!
Not long after I was able to post about Jessie's (Lone Star's Jet Set Jessie - Jet puppy) derby win, she earned a derby 3rd (two placements in consecutive weekends). Jessie is completely amateur trained by Dave Kirker. Congrats to the two of them on these solid performances. This brings Jessie to 7 derby points, in addition to the 4 senior passes she earned.
Here are a few pictures of "Max" at the beginning of the 2015 duck season. Here are some comments Max's owner Danny Damron had about him:
"(He's a) Fast learner, very intelligent and eager to please. The best trait about Max and drake (littermate) is they learn fast, go all out, and are controllable. We are very pleased, I would put either one of them up against any dog in a hunt situation. Max just recently passed the wounded bird in the water test. He swam casing the diving bird for a good 10 minutes before catching it and returning the live bird to hand. Both dogs are doing blind water and land retrieves. I don't know if you will do this breeding again but these dogs certainly pass the test. We couldn't ask for anything better. Thanks. Danny" Here are some recent accomplishments from some of Jet's offspring:
***SOLD*** This Layna x Sabe puppy would make a great hunt test or gundog prospect, and definitely an excellent companion. She has a really bright, happy personality, is extremely sweet and loves to be around people. This puppy has an intense retrieving desire (loves to retrieve!) and is very birdy. Puppy is $650, has been raised in our home, received all of her first shots/wormer, and comes with a 26 month hip and eye guarantee.
