Almost 2 hours later the final puppy was born. It's about 4:30 am on Monday morning as I write this, and I think all of the adrenalin and caffeine have finally started to lose their effect. Though 48 hours without sleep can be tough, at least I didn't give birth 8 times. We finished out the day with 5 black, female and 3 black, male lab puppies - and one latex glove out of a box of 50. Our vet was awesome, and very thoroughly examined Jessie and each puppy. She reported that they are all in good health, and are doing well. Comments are closed.
